Always me that adaptation is a multi-billion dollar industry surprises... Still a universal, concise and solid definition of fitness is difficult to nail down.

Just ask someone participating in a fitness program, or even someone industry fitness for this matter, to give a clear definition of fitness.

It is very likely that will meet the gaze "deer caught in the headlights" accompanied by mumbling absurd.

If you get a response, it is very likely that leans towards the specific skills of the person who requested.

For example...

Fitness is a commitment of all the different physical abilities of human activity.

Look at this way...

Suppose that all physical skills were tested separately.

Some athletes specialization would score very high in some physical abilities... and very low in others.

But a person who personified fitness is true, universal would score well on all physical abilities... but is not necessarily the best in any one skill.

Here is an excellent definition of fitness...

Acceptable and deliberate commitment to competition and the ability to perform in all areas cardiorespiratory endurance, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, accuracy and tenacity to produce results of performance in most circumstances.

Not only is universal fitness commitment of all physical abilities... but is over-all to integrate all physical skills and capacity to seamlessly flow capacity to successfully complete a task.

Therefore that the adoption of this definition of fitness would do for you?

Fitness training programme would be evaluated according to what well "optimized" all physical abilities, and not only how well "maximized" a special ability at the expense of others.

Basically, structuring your physical training to improve all physical abilities of this definition of fitness would significantly enhance physical performance of over, all in a wide variety of activities.

Now by no means most of us physically train?
